What is WeType.UK?
WeType is a UK registered company operating under British Law.
We are based in the UK and our company registration number is 09643724.
We are ISO27001 registered and originally certified in January 2019. We re certify annually, the last one being completed in March 2022.
Our VAT number is GB 216 0155 51.
We conform with all British Company Regulations.

How Do I Record?
You can use a variety of different methods to record. The easiest is to download our FREE mobile device app called VoiceMaster. It works on Apple and Android devices.
The WeType app can be configured to record and send files securely to DictationMaster and is fully GDPR-compliant.
WeType is also pre-configured on the Dictate+Connect app. If you are using this to record and send then it is a very simple to submit files direct to WeType.
Or you can use a digital voice recorder from Philips or Olympus if that is your preferred method. Check with us first that the sound files are compatible!

How Do I Send Dictations?
Your WeType Typist will transcribe in any format specified.
This could be a Word template that you provide and we store on DictationMaster, or direct into your own record and management system.
WeType can work with all the leading UK PMS and CRM systems.
We will integrate seamlessly into your existing workflow and operating systems.

How Does My Work Come Back?
The completed transcribed document can be returned in a variety of ways.
1) You can log in to your secure area on DictationMaster and download using any web browser
2) Request for it always to be sent in encrypted format to an email address of your choice
3) Input directly into your own document management system

What Format Is The Work Typed In?
Your WeType Typist will transcribe in any format specified.
This could be a Word template that you provide and we store on DictationMaster, or direct into your own patient record and management system.
WeType can work with all the leading UK medical PMS and CRM systems.
We will integrate seamlessly into your existing workflow and operating systems.

How Do You Charge?
Based on length of recording on a per minute basis.
Our standard rate service is £1.35 per minute. The fast turnaround service is £1.65 per minute. This is for single voice dictation.

Invoices are issued in British pounds sterling and are subject to VAT at the standard rate.

How Do I Pay?
You will be invoiced at month-end with a fully detailed breakdown of usage.
Settlement is due on receipt and may be made by direct transfer to our UK bank account, by Direct Debit, by PayPal and by credit card. There are no surcharges for online payments. We cannot accept foreign payments.

What Are Your Terms And Conditions?
There are no fixed charges, minimum monthly spends or hidden charges.
The full flexibility of outsourcing allows you to use WeType as much or as little as you want.

Where Are Your Typists Based?
Unlike other companies, we are proud to say that all of our typists are based in the UK.
GDPR and ISO considerations are vital to ensuring your data integrity.

What Is DictationMaster?
DictationMaster is a web-based file transfer system. GDPR and ISO27001 approved with high encryption levels.
It allows safe secure movement of dictation and completed work between client, WeType and typist.
It can be tailored to your specific requirements and is quick, easy-to-use and reliable.
Access can be through PC, web browser or direct through the mobile app software.

What Is VoiceMaster?
VoiceMaster is a mobile app that is FREE for all WeType clients and installed on your mobile or tablet.
It works with Apple and Android devices.
The program will turn your mobile into a digital voice recorder and send dictation files direct to DictationMaster.
It is quick, safe and secure.

What Are Your Turnaround Times?
Standard service is within 24 hours.
Priority is within 4 hours.
It is best to liaise with your Account Manager to discuss in greater detail exactly how you wish the service to act for you.
WeType is a real-time transcription service. Your dictation will go to a specific typist, and not be allocated to a pool.

Does My Dictation Go To The Same Typist?
Yes at least 80% of the time. There will be three typists who are familiar with your dictation and nature of work but ideally your files will be typed by the same secretary when possible.
All WeType typists sign a CA and NDA.

When Can I Start?
Use our online form to complete an application for an account.
You could be up and running and using WeType within minutes!
You will receive an email with contact details for your Account Manager who will liaise with you regarding your specific needs.
